Mindfulness Meditation

Learn How to Journey Inward

When the mind feels too overcrowded with ruminating thoughts and turbulent emotions, it is hard to show up as the best version of ourselves and navigate what is expected of us without compromising our wellbeing.

Mindfulness practice including mindfulness meditation can help to press the reset button without being swept away into automatic and survival mode.

Learning to become more observant and noticing how thoughts and feelings inform us, avoids feeling stuck in loops of guilt, shame and anxiety. We lose the negative internal dialogue that can keeps us in constant loops of self sabotage and fear, away from the body and mind’s own natural ability to be in a flow state.

When past experiences continue to impact a person long after the adverse event(s) have passed, anxiety signals fear that can escalate in seconds and affect emotional responses, keeping the person into hypervigilance. Survival mode becomes everyday conditioning even when no present danger or safety concerns arise.

Neeteesha has decades of experience in mindfulness meditation practice and many years of teaching valuable tools that can help her clients manage the ways in which they respond to life’s stressors.

These strategies can apply to all areas of life, and nurture a growth mindset where appreciation of life becomes the new default mode and healthy boundaries are more easily asserted without the need to compromise one’s values.

For instance, the person impacted by crippling anxiety can begin to recalibrate their emotional brain to feel safe within themselves. Breathing techniques, visualisation, self talk, somatic approaches amongst other strategies can be learnt as part of the whole mindfulness practice to become more attuned with one’s own healing resources from within.
